You will be required to enter both promo codes to avoid CB/ABA membership fees: CB fee ($9) and ABA fee ($18). The CB & ABA coaching membership fees are paid by SBA for all volunteer Coaches.
RCMP Vulnerable Sector Check letters are available in the mailbox at 476 Norway Crescent. This can be completed anytime now, as well as the Safe Sport Training course (see below).
When selecting your Division of Choice, please choose one of the following: 7U Co-Ed, 9U Girls, 9U Boys, 11U Girls, 11U Boys, 13U Girls, 13U Boys, 15U Girls, 15U Boys, 18U Women, 18U Men. *If you are looking to coach more than one team, you can note that on your registration document on RAMP (should you not be able to select more than one division).

VOLUNTEER RCMP VULNERABLE SECTOR CHECKS (VSC) / SAFE SPORT TRAINING / RAMP COACHING REGISTRATION
It is mandatory that all persons involved with our SBA youth (including Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Team Managers if they work with the Kids); all acquire Criminal/Vulnerable check. If you are volunteering to help the team but will NOT be directly working with the kids alone, a check is not required. A check is required for each and every season (they last one year), with the date covering from the start to the completion of the season - September (EYBA) / October (HL) to early March.
NOTE: If you have had a check completed in another sport/activity that will last through our season (through March, 2026), that will be acceptable.
NEW for the 2025-26 SEASON: When you register as a Coach on RAMP, you will check off the option to get RAMP to complete the Criminal Record check. The system will take you to a 'Triton' form to fill out. Once that portion is completed, you will then be sent an email in which you will have limited time to answer about 3-5 more questions. You will receive the completed CRC after that and it will be automatically uploaded onto your profile on RAMP.
Also required is Coaches to take the Safe Sport Training course: follow instructions HERE. Safe Sport training is requirement to be completed every 2nd year.
Deadlines to complete Safe Sport Training:
- EYBA SBA STEEL Coaches' (13U/15U Tier 1/Tier 2/Tier 3 ONLY) - August 15th
- EYBA SBA 11U/13U/15U/18U Community Coaches - September 1st
- (HL) House League 7U/9U SBA Coaches - September 30th

13U/15U Tier 1/Tier 2/Tier 3 SBA 'STEEL' ELITE TEAM PROGRAM:
If you are looking to sign up to Head Coach one of our elite 'Steel' teams for the 2024-25 season, you must apply. Coaches for those specific teams will be confirmed at the tryouts. STEEL coaching applications are due by August 15th, 2024. When you sign up to coach on RAMP, you will find the questions pertaining to the Tier 1/Tier 2/Tier 3 coaching positions (this process is the way in which you apply). Please answer all questions listed under the 13U/15U STEEL team specifically (see questions starting with "Part of the Application process for 13U/15U STEEL Coaches ONLY").
NOTE TO COACHES: If you do not sign up on the RAMP online system, you cannot be put on the list of coaches, meaning that you would not be selecting a gym time at the same time as other Coaches would have the opportunity. Please ensure you click one of the links above and get signed up. Thank you!
