Coaches Needed

As we prepare for another exciting basketball season, we want to thank everyone who has already stepped up to coach. Our volunteer coaches are the heart of SBA, and without them, we simply cannot run our programs.

Right now, we still have several open coaching positions that need to be filled in order for the season to go ahead as planned.

Coaching Needs

9U Girls - 1 Head Coach, 1 Assistant Coach
9U Boys - 4 Head Coaches, 5 Assistant Coaches
11U Girls - 1 Head Coach, 1 Assistant Coach
11U Boys - 1 Head Coach, 3 Assistant Coaches
13U Girls (Tier 3 & lower) - 1 Head Coach, 3 Assistant Coaches
13U Boys (Tier 3 & lower) - 3 Head Coaches, 5 Assistant Coaches
15U Girls (Tier 3 & lower) - 2 Head Coaches, 2 Assistant Coaches
15U Boys (Tier 1 & Tier 2) - 2 Head Coaches, 4 Assistant Coaches

Why This Matters
If we do not have enough coaches by:

• Aug 24, 2025 for 11U-15U teams

• October 1, 2025 for 9U 

…the last players registered in those age groups will unfortunately be removed from the program. This is not something we want to do, but each team must have a coach before we can place players.

If you’ve ever considered coaching, now is the time to get involved. You don’t need elite basketball experience — just a willingness to learn, support our players, and make a difference. SBA offers resources, mentorship, and support for all coaches.
